Such Wickedness In Boys So Young
http:// www.bbc .co.uk/ news/en gland/
Its difficult to believe that such wickedness could exist in such young boys. They have ruined the rest of their lives, in a few moments of madness.

Pixo // I don't see how they would encourage violence. I used to play them. Most people understand the difference between reality and video. //
At an inquest of a 6 y o - a witness described in a tower block seeing a small suitcase whizz past his window and then a six year old whizzed past.
Flattened of course - it was an inquest. Coroner thought....the child was "running away" and had been confused by cartoons on how to do it
I agree one swallow doesnt make a summer

Nobody seems to have considered the following possible scapegoats :-
(1) All the chemicals in today's food.
(2) All the radiation now from various sources (nuclear reactors, mobile networks).
Admittedly this would be expected to affect all, but obviously levels of susceptibilty will differ from person to person, like any "natural immunity". Modern "yoof" however make excessive use of mobile phones/ipods etc.

I don't know which area AOG lived in during the 40s/50s but up here in Lancashire the only fights back then usually involved one on one .Arguments in the dancehalls usually resulted in 'I'll see you outside' No knives unless you were a boy scout ,'bovver boots' had yet to make an appearance so you didn't hear anyone say-'I'll kick your head in'.
Mind you we did have deterrents back then. The police were never far away .A night in the cells often cooled the lads down.

/// In the 1940's The number of murders in England and Wales increased by 22 per cent. During the same period there was an increase of 44 per cent for wounding and 65 per cent for grievous wounding. ///
Were they all committed by children? Because that is what we are discussing here, if you have forgot.
