Well it doesn't me, but one cannot blame these people, who wouldn't strive for a better life?
One has to blame the EU for it's open borders policy and our politicians for all the benefits bestowed on these immigrants when they arrive here.

After reading the link I am pretty much fuming the woman sits there declaring she won't work. If she won't work she should have her benefit cut immediately. My soon to be finished job - today actually - is helping out people such as this woman, like the article said, filling forms etc. Many of them state they don't speak english, many of them lie. I remember one man saying his english was 'no good'

I'm really sorry, everytime I reply here it submits before I finish.
I know one man (pakistani) who said his english was 'no good' but then overheard him saying to someone (I think algerian) in pretty plain easy to understand english that if his tablets weren't working he should try alternative medicine!
For the life of me I don't understand why people from other countries are allowed to come here and claim benefits and have a house given to them when there's so many people here of British nationality who treated like layabouts because they can't find work even though they are trying so hard to find a job, and I know of married couples who live with family as they are waiting and waitng for house as they can't get on the property ladder.

In fairness, this isn't a news story, it's an advert for a Channel Five documentary series called 'Benefits Britain: Life on the Dole'.
I've been watching it actually, and we were discussing it in the office, a couple of colleagues said exactly the same thing that we did after watching the first show, "Daily Mail readers will LOVE this".
When we watched the episode earlier this week, they trailed next week's edition which featured this woman, and my partner said to me, "Now THIS is the motherlode. Perfect story"

And don't you just love the word "Slovak" slapped on the front. Sounds a bit like "slovenly" don't ya know.
Thank God the Mail is here to save us.
I couldn't move this morning for Slovak benefit seekers crowding the pavement :-)
If only they'd stay out of site like the millionaire tax dodgers and foreign oligarchs who fund the Tory Party ...

Maybe some will be more comfortable criticising this, all for a level playing field the Daily Mail and I.

Yes, that was from this week's episode.
However, as a point of clarification - Channel Five did not make this chap look like a racist moron. His daughter and son-in-law came across well. It was only he who looked like a racist moron.
On the plus side. His house was immaculately clean and well presented. Many times on this type of show, you will see people living like animals. Filthy messy houses with overflowing ash trays and paper hanging off the wall.

But my point is - this is in no way a news story. The Daily Mail are simply reprinting the information that they have received as a press release from Channel Five.
It's basically an advert for the show.
There's a word for it. It's called 'churnalism', and all news outlets are guilty of it to one degree or another, because there is so much online content they need to fill.
Savvy readers can spot churnalism a mile off.

If it is not a news story then why conduct a press release, should we not be told about certain matters, what about political press meetings that the Prime Minister and other Ministers hold on a regular basis, so as to inform the media who in turn informs their readers or viewers, are they just adverts for the Government's view on matters?

/// I didn't see it but to allow someone to make you look like a racist moron, surely there must have been a degree of cooperation on his part? ///
And that's not very difficult these days, one has only to open their mouths or type an opinion, and if it is not what some wish to see or hear, then out come the racist and other insulting expletives.

I didn't say that coming across like a racist moron is a crime.
Fact is, when you have a massive tattoo of Hitler across your back, you will look like a racist moron.
When you have White Power tattooed onto the back of your neck you will look like a racist moron.
I shall not be supporting this racist moron who is funding his layabout lifestyle with my money.
He's a fit healthy man with no young dependents.
Perhaps he cannot find gainful employment because he's a racist moron?
With offensive tattoos on parts of his body which he cannot hide.
Not all morons are racist, and not all racists are morons, but he falls in to both categories.
