It would be certain death for dave if he did this. At least he can lose next May's election with his honour intact but to take Farage's shilling would forever be to his lasting shame. But this shows how desperate UKIP are.

The Coalition with the Liberals was helpful to Cameron because it helped to keep the Euro Skeptics in his party muted.

A coalition with UKiP would be a terrible idea for Cameron. The Euro Skeptics would be enbolded by the UKIPers and would cause havoc.

Very generous of Farage and UKIP, a party with not a single MP, to offer a pact with the party who is currently in power.

Maybe Farage wants to ensure they do get at least a couple of seats at the next election.

Does any body seriously think that the Tory Party would consider giving up running candidates in 30 seats ? They, and the Labour Party have always fought in all seats, not just the ones where they have a certain chance of winning. Its would be unheard of.

If Farage wants to win a single seat in Westminster, he needs to do it off his own back and with his own supporters, not steal them from other parties. This is madness !

Don't be daft QM ! The Tory Party hasn't got nearly as many fruitcakes, loonies, and closet racists as UKIP ! It has some I grant you but not really enough to make an alliance work.
