As an english person I'm hoping for a yes vote, and I say that without any ill feeling toward the Scots.

I agree with the independence movement's point of view that they should be able to manage their own affairs. As I heard one of them say once - 'I don't know if we can survive outside the union, but I believe we have the right to try'.

Same goes for us. We have the right to see if we can survive without Scotland. Good luck to them.
I think the audience expected Salmond to have prepared a few answers by now and were disappointed in his

' trust me and it will be all right '

Especially on Sterling: Salmond: my posiition on Sterling is as it was eight weeks ago.

audience: Oh ! Oh ! Oh !
Like I say ...NUMPTY !
If they get independence will the still not have to pay university fees?
It will be a very sad day if the yes vote wins. This is at the moment a United Kingdom of which I am so proud, please Scotties let us keep it that way.
Didn't know Darling had balls
Reports say that Salmonds poor performance has set the 'Yes' vote back by up to 7%, he is his own worst enemy.
Salmond has been failing to make a conclusive case for the last few years and it seems he hasn't improved very much.
When I saw gordie's thread last night I looked all through Sky to find it with no luck - what channel was it on?
How on earth can an independent Scotland keep the pound when it will be the Bank of England that sets interest rates and monetary policy? What would an independent Scotland do if interest rates were set at 10 per cent and there were consequent difficulties in Scotland? Vote for independence a second time?
Stv....can you download stv player ?

Hope that works prud xx

Mind and have a pillow to hide behind at the worst bits ! :-0
Venator, one has to ask oneself which is worse, "a Labour government owned and run by the trade unions" or "a Tory government owned and run by venture capitalists and casino bankers". I know which I'd prefer.
