Mikey, part of the reshuffle is the the PM wanted to put together a team for the run up to the election and post the election. When Simmonds told the PM he was resigning his MP post some time ago, he expected to be taken from his minatorial role. As i said above he was asked to chair the Security Council. That don, he has now stepped down and Duddridge has taken over. A coincidence of timing.
