If Blair's image was shown on a Royal Mail stamp it would be the final nail in the coffin of Royal Mail.He would demand 50% royalties on each stamp sold and quickly bankrupt it like he nearly ruined great Britain.

Retro...are you seriously suggesting that a large amount of all those millions of people that voted Labour in three consecutive Elections were immigrants ? That is plain daft !
I suggest you go away and re-think that point, as it is palpable nonsense. I and Gromit can't be the only ones on here today that think you are incorrect.
If you don't understand the simple facts of the election figures, why don't you say so instead of making a fool out of yourself.

Under Labour , just over three million immigrants came in to the UK. Let's assume half were under 18...so call it 1.5 million that would largely vote Labour in an election, take away 50% for those that don't vote, so lets say somewhere around half a million potential Labour votes....significant as a bloc but not nigh on 13 million.
Thanks DTC...simple arithmetic wins in the end !
So, having got the ludicrous suggestion that it was immigrants that put Labour and Blair into power three times, we are left with the inescapable conclusion that it must have been ordinary non-immigrant Labour voters that did it, and that was the point in my post of 10:07.
I don't expect to have many followers when I say that Blair was popular. But to hear some people think, he can't be given credit for anything whatsoever. Well, he got rid of Major and caused a succession of Tory MPs to fail miserable in the role of leader of the Tory party. And there is a strong indication that if he hadn't passed over the baton, he would have won a fourth time. Instead we got the truly awful Gordon Brown, the worst Labour PM in living memory.

Regardless of figures and who knows how many potential voters there is amongst them but Baroness Warsi thinks that the ethnic minority vote is important, and I am sure Labour does too,why else do they welcome them with open arms?
/// Former Conservative chairman Baroness Warsi says her party will not win the next election unless it does more to attract ethnic minority voters. ///

I think we are leaving the post title here but since you wish to give Blair credit do you credit him with taking us into a war with Iraq under a web of lies and false premise.WMD my a***e.The capability of these WMD to reach Britain from Iraq.My a***.How many Iraqi civilians were killed by the joint bombing of Iraq because he fancied a regime change along with Bush.Look how Iraq stands now.Worse off than with Saddam and still more atrocities occuring.Do you give Blair credit for the loss of allied troops lives just to boost Blairs ego when he cosied up to Bush? You do the number crunching. How many innocent civilians died in Iraq in both Gulf wars? I would suggest a lot more than in Gaza recently yet you call Netanhayu a war criminal but you want to give some credit to Blair who you suggest is not.You would spout any tub thumping rubbish that says your precious Labour can't do wrong .

// Yet you are supporting 'Boots on the Ground' in Iraq once again, do you believe that we can win this one? //
We have to try. ISIS are a different proposition and are very very dangerous. They need to be stopped.
The invasion of Iraq in 2003 was bonkers. Iraq had no al qaeda presence, and was not involved at all in 9/11. They were included in the war on terrorism because Saddam had plotted to kill Bush Senior.
