It is not an imitation accent. It is very clear on the audio and is unmistakenly a London accent albeit from a foreign sounding tongue. It is so clear that relatives and friends may recognise who it is. i would not be surprised if the identity is not already known.

Yes there are more incidents reported of stunned,amazed,gobsmacked,uninformed families denying any knowledge of their family members involvement/intent in acts of terrorist activities. Too many. Shoe bomber, Two Somali girls,young teens,trotting off to Syria to be Jihadist brides or whatever.Muslim doctors trained in the UK aiding ISIS terrorists in their Syrian hospitals.The London Tube/Bus bombers whose wives knew what their reconnaisance missions were all about before the events and said nothing. The two savages who butchered Lee Rigby.Although no family members said anything about them to the press we heard glowing testimonials of what nice guys they were and who would of thought it.There are plenty of examples of home grown terrorists.Have I mentioned enough for you?

Unfortunately, it's impossible to have a reasoned debate on this topic on AB, because at heart, it's almost impossible to be objective - furthermore, too many 'conversational cluster bombs' keep getting chucked into the thread.

For instance, I have learned today that there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim, and that liberals will only take terrorism seriously when there is a beheading in Islington.

I think the 'reasoned debate horse' has bolted and was last seen galloping to the hills.

If you are suggesting, and please correct me if I misunderstand you, that these debates descend into a Muslim bashing exercise then that may seem to be the case. Terrorism committed in the name of Islam is in a Global league of it's own.Horrendous as it was, the IRA terrorist bombings were not global.I did work in Central London during the troubles and the sight of WPC Jane Arbuthnott lying dead outside Harrods does come back to haunt me from time to time so let me make it clear I do not diminish that terrorism at all in comparing it to Terrorism committed by Muslim fanatics.
The spread is growing and as previously stated it is all over the world including our own doorstep and drastic and extreme measures must be made to try and eradicate it but I fear that it will be an almost impossible task but it must be attempted.
