No doubt he is hanging on hoping to be fired so he can clean up like that other lovey piece of work Shoesmith.

He should resign from his job as PCC with immediate effect. Everybody is calling for this, including the Labour Party, which is a former member of, and Teresa May. I could predict that as his position is now untenable, he will go very soon anyway.
But people falling on their swords is not going to provide justice for all those 100's of children that were targeted by these paedophiles. Something was drastically wrong in the Rotherham and we need to get to the bottom of this affair. Police and Social Services were quite clearly lacking in their duties, as has been found in other child abuse scandals all over the UK. I am still waiting for Butler-Sloss's replacement to be announced and this is down to dave and his Government. He should pull his finger out asap.
