There are also "dozens of white suspects" mentioned in the report.
No - you can have a mass exodus of some people.

That's an oxymoron.
But to answer your question. I hope there isn't. And I question the need for the police to publicise this ahead of the start of the operation. It's tantamount to giving suspects a head start.

Since they're members of these gangs, I wonder if they're Muslim too?

SP, but you can have a mass exodus of one section of the community. However, it won't happen.
If the police had the information on these suspects why are they still free? Could it be they have ignored victims for years, and have now been shamed into doing their job properly?

In answer to your question. No we will not see a mass exodus. Firstly, they are innocent until proven guilty, secondly not all the abusers are Pakistani, and thirdly, they themselves will not know if they are suspects.
and fourthly, life in a British prison is a lot jollier than freedom in Pakistan.

And well we know it, but why should they be going back to Pakistan.

Instead of trying to dilute the seriousness of this problem, first read what is put ie "FOR SOME"
No but it is time for a mass exodus of illegal immigrants from this country.

Firstly if you happened to be one who has been involved in these cases, would you hang around until you were arrested, and then sent to trial?

Secondly "not all the abusers are Pakistani" see my reply to CORBYLOON.

And thirdly, if they have been involved then they will know they are likely to be suspects, there is little chance they will take the gamble that they are not on the police's list.

You seem to be arguing that there will be a mass exodus.

When or if the police do round these people up, then we will know if any have scarpered. If any have, you would have to question the wisdom of publicising the raids in advance.

You may say 'And well we know it' but I don't recall you mentioning this before.

If I had it would have made no sense to my headline, since the report mainly refers to Asian men, although that is insulting to other Asians who do not come from Pakistan.

*** with 180 mainly Asian men targeted in Manchester alone ***

There won't be a mass exodus but 'some' will possibly look towards Pakistan. Whatever, there will be a lot of men starting to look over their shoulder as it sounds like the Police mean business here. Quite a co-incidence so soon after Rotheram but if the scale of this operation is to be believed, then the planning would be such that it is an innocent co-incidence.

Much damage has been done to the credibility of various agencies, it is time to seriously put that right and all the suspects are rounded up and put on trial where there is a prima facie case.
