This case especially, didn't he see the effect it had on people and how much they cared...wss it a case of say it and be damned! Ali know it it was not appropriate for it to be put about and I was disgusted by it.

I think the reason for the P in his name is because by Equity rules no actor can haave exactly the same name as another, and as there was alread a Jack Sheperd (of Wycliffe fame) he had to incorporate an initial or choose another name. It was for the same reason that Harry H Corbet (of Steptoe fame) had to insert an initial to distinguish him from Harry Corbet (of Sooty fame).
I have a very dark sense of humour and can see some humour in every situation. I think that it called Gallows humour. But I realise that not everyone is like this and it is best to try and take care not to upset others.
Twitter is dangerous in the hands of a moron, he gave no thought at all to who may be reading his twitter thingy. Had he been with his friends (if he has any) it may have been the sort of joke their infantile little brains can find funny.
I am sure that this eejit has done stupid before - but can't think what.
Sacking his is a bit OTT. It is supposed to be a free country and all that.
The mobs hate people capable of animal cruelty as a close second to child cruelty. Often people will be capable of both. Corrie's moron may find that this tasteless joke will lose him friends and fans.
I haven't seen Coronation street since Deirdre's baby was in its pram in the street when a lorry drove into the pub. And it was one of the few episodes that I did watch.
