right out of order, though his own family didn't exactlty put themselves out looking for him did they. Worthless lowlives, no doubt they'll get off with a couple of years in one of HMHCs living far more comfortably then their victim. Death's too good for some lowlives.

I understand DB. I get carried away as well sometimes ! I am not the travellers best friend either but its wrong to tar them all with the same brush. I have already shown from the Cornish link that modern slavery is not an exclusive "***" activity. But its the inhumanity of this case that gets me. This poor chap has been put the mill here and I just hope that the perpetrators pay the penalty.

I have had literally no contact (that I know of) of gypsies, and am grateful for all those posting horror stories about them. If one were to approach me, asking me to buy lucky heather, or perhaps re-pave my drive, I now know to run to the hills, with my arms flailing above my head.
dive buddy's story reminds me of a time back in the 70s when my Chopper (best bike ever made) was nicked by a family who were predominantly ginger. We got it back, but to this day I am very wary of redheads.
This is why my mother slammed the door in Cilla's face when she tried to do an episode of 'Surprise Surprise' on our estate.

When I lived in S.Devon I knew a farmer who had land very close to my house. One day he found about a dozen Caravans in his roadside field. Now this guy is not someone you messed with, he has done "time" a few times for assault. He confronted one of the guys, who was equipped with his full name and address, the names of his wife and his 4 children and proceeded to tell the farmer that if they weren't totally left alone his house would burn to the ground in the middle of the night! How do you deal with that? the filthy scum bags.
I dont tar them all with the same brush but the ones I have known I would not trust!
