The simple answer why the 2010 UKIP manifesto was put into practise had nothing much to do with the quality or quantity of its drivel AOG...UKIP lost every seat that it contested, and lost them overwhelmingly. They had, and still have very little credibility and that is Farages greatest problem, after trying to herd the cats that comprise his parties representatives, of course.

I am sure that you, like the rest of us, are appalled at *all* stories of abuse and rape of children (even if you oddly, and I assume accidentally described Jimmy Saville's abuses as 'mere fumbling').
This goes beyond race or religion. I look forward to you agreeing with me, that all child abuse is abhorrent.

The best way to defeat the far right is to plough money into our education system. There are far too many young British kids failing their GCSEs and because football clubs now have robust anti-hooligan protocols in place, there are few avenues for uneducated knuckle-draggers to vent their spleen (which they would no doubt spell as 'spein' because they cannot spell).
We should not demonise these young men. Instead, we should look to employ them in roles which best exploit their talents.
There are many car wash companie which EDL supporters could find gainful employment.
I would suggest that they could get jobs as road sweepers, but as far as I know, you need to be able to distinguish one end of a broom from another.

Without a shadow of a doubt - Muslim extremist are a far greater threat to the security of the UK and the West in general. Absolutely without doubt.
However, the problem we have here is that certain people seem to think that scum like the EDL and BNP are no threat simply because their threat is less than that of Muslim fundamentalists.
It's like saying "Ebola is the greatest worldwide health threats...but hey ho, bleach is no where near as dangerous, so I'm going to neck down this bottle of Domestos."

The threat lies in people enacting behaviour based on some of those attitudes, particularly if it involves violence.

At the moment, there is *literally* only one person.

So yeah, believe me - I ache for a time when we get some hardcore right wing commentators (something like an AB version of Peter Hitchin or Dominic Sandbrook), but until that time comes...

I was a shelf stacker at Tesco.
I worked in MacDonalds.
I know what manual work is all about.
However, unlike BNP/EDL supporters, rather than bemoan my lot and blame immigrants, I studied, worked hard and got myself a job commensurate to my skills.
That's the problem with too many people now - they blame others for their own shortcomings.
In fact, right wing neophytes are exactly the same as anyone who plays the race card.
They have failed for one reason - themselves.
