Are these groups exclusive to white brits or brits in general and if so does anyone know the percentage of these groups who aren't white and are they generally welcome into these groups?

Sorry are you trying to compare apples and oranges ? Why would you even think UKIP is white skinned folk only, or try to imply it ?
UKIP is NOTHING remotely like edl or bnp... absolutely NOTHING !!
Are they all not just a big bunch of racist thugs who just want a fight? They all go in the same branding for me anyway.
Pathetic ukanon. UKIP have black councillors and black MEPs.
I think UKIP would very much object to being lumped in with the others. They do indeed have non-white members, some are quite senior speakers for them (I'm not a member by the way.)
Unfortunately, ukanon, you seem to be confusing the desire to use the resources available in the UK for the people already and to control who does and does not enter the country with racism. A common mistake.
Linking UKIP with the other groups shows a complete lack of political savvy.IMHO
UKIP's raison d'être is the supremacy of parliament, as expounded by Dyce. This supports the clause in the Bill of Rights, 1689, which states that nothing said or done in parliament ought to be questioned in a court of law, be that court in the UK or in Brussels.
I am not at all happy about UKIP, EDL and the BNP being lumped together.
I am hardly UKIP's biggest fan but to associate them with other two is tantamount to libel.

While it is difficult to imagine any more a very tiny amount of token non-whites in the EDL and BNP, I very much doubt that they are in much evidence in UKIP either. How would UKIP attract our non-white population ?
Mikey, a lot of 2nd/3rd generation non-whites are very hard workers, have built up businesses, are settled in stable societies and are as dismayed as anyone else by the influx of immigrants. I've heard several of them saying as much.
Mikey you would be very suprised to hear how our 'non-white' population talk on immigration and I've seen evidence of this at the UKIP conference. The colour of ones skin bears no influence on how you feel about immigration if you are 3rd generation born in the UK, this is your home and you have the right to feel as if we are just opening the doors to all and sundry. Many 'non-white' UK citizens are strongly against UK Immigration laws as they stand and many of them were at the conference and many of them will be voting UKIP.
retro...I understand that you went to the UKIP Conference. What percentage of the people that attended, including officials, elected MEPs and Councillors, and candidates were non-white in your estimation ?

You can use as loose an definition of non-white as you think is appropriate.
Yes, yes nice try but failed miserably to discredit UKIP.

Micky, I know many 'non white' folk around the country who are unhappy with immigration. Ret has answered it perfectly. You also seem to have missed the main point about UKIP, the party has nothing to do with colour of skin, indeed UKIP does not like the open door EU policy allowing 'whites' in.

//I am not at all happy about UKIP, EDL and the BNP being lumped together.//

really Mikey? so why do you continually refer to UKIP as "BNP-Lite"??
ymb...I haven't missed any point at all. If you read my post I was condemning anybody for associating UKIP with the other two racist groups of thugs. dave used to refer to UKIP as closet-racists but they do seem to have changed over the last few years.

I will be very interested in hearing Retros figures, if they are forthcoming.
Perhaps Mikey could produce the same statistics for the Labour Party conference.
mush...because it caused so many attacks of the vapours here on AB, like dave, I no longer refer to them as such. Many of them are however, still fruitcakes and loonies.
Obiter...I wasn't at the Labour Conference but Retro was at the UKIP, hence my question. Anyway this thread by henrietta isn't about the Labour party, its about UKIP, EDL and the BNP, and its her thread that I am addressing. Nice try though for trying to shift the goalposts !
And how many fruitcakes and loonies are there in the Labour Party?
Well starting with the one at the top .....
