Tora, The Tories failed to get a majority in 2010 after 13 years of Labour. Do you really think they will be more popular after these 5 years of shambles? They will lose MPs. Maybe not a lot, but enough to lose power.

Osbourne is very different from dave. But when the Tories lose power, nobody on the Tory front bench is safe. Anyway, it will be up to May, Boris, or A N Other to decide who will form the shadow cabinet.
My own gut reaction is that May or Boris will want to start sweeping with a nice new brush, rather than struggle on with the same one that had just lost the election for the Tories.

As I have said before in political terms there is still a long way to go until May.I expect there will be a give away budget in March which then will be adjusted in June by either party.Labour because they find we are deeper in debt than we were in 2010 or Tories to redress their profligacy to enable them to win the election.Interesting times ahead.Next stop Rochester and Strood.
From the horses mouth ( well, bookies anyway )

Interestingly, Paddy Power is also giving odds on how many elections there will be in 2015 ::::

It genuinely concerns me that Labour, under Ed Milliband, could become the executive next May.
If we are talking about the leaders influencing the vote, this says more about Cameron than it does about Milliband....because, I think it is fair to say, the Francois Hollande "admirer" (and we all now how despised he is and how France is sliding backwards) Milliband, will be an awful Prime Minister because he does not command respect and is perceived as a bit of a joke.
We are about to become the second largest European economy, the IMF predicts we will go into 2015 with one of the most robust and growing economies in the world, inflation is down, unemployment is down, output is up......altogether a very different picture from 2010 in just 4 short years. Not a bad result in my view.
If Milliband "admires" Hollande's socialism so much, it sends a shiver down my spine that he may try to emulate it.
If Labour win it will be a backward step for the UK.

Sorry, not had chance to read the replies.
If Cameron fails to win the General Election, he will be deposed. He will stand down before he is pushed and Boris will be elected leader. He was poor in opposition before 2010, and he has been a poor Prime Minister. He has failed on the economy, immigration and foreign policy. The sooner the voters get rid of him the better.
