By the way, he went over there for some money, not big money, because there was widespread unemployment in the building trade over here, as I have already said today.
Far from being inconvenienced, he settled down quite well when he was in Germany and learnt the language. His German employer made him a sort of charge-hand, over other Brits, because of his language skills. If my memory is correct, he worked over there for about 4-5 years and would have liked to have brought his wife and young family over, perhaps more permanently. But his wife wasn't keen, which I fully understand.
But his hypocrisy, and others like him, still needs to be challenged. Its even worse amongst some of our unemployed, where they continually whinge about people taking the jobs that they themselves won't leave the Dole to do.
Hypocrites leave themselve open wide to criticism, and only have themselves to blame when it backfires in their faces.

/// This problem of our own unemployed staying on the dole, but complaining about foreigners taking "their" jobs is not going to go away, just by the expectancy of pretending it isn't happening. ///
/// Make taking a job instead of the dole compulsory, instead of a lifestyle choice. ///
And who created this 'benefit' culture? Your own beloved Labour Party, making these 'feckless' their main core voters.
The Tories are trying to sort this benefit mess out, (regardless of whether or not it might cost them votes), but all they get are criticisms from Labour

AOG...your understanding of the benefits system here in Britain is woefully inadequate. We have got to where we are by successive Governments of both political hues, over a long period of time. This problem isn't a Party-political issue. I will give this Government its due, however, in that they are trying to get to grips with the benefit culture, a move that was started by Labour and which they continuing with. But its a very intractable problem, as IDS has found out. Living on benefits has become part of the ingrained nature of a growing part of our population and its going to be the devil of a job to get rid of it.
One of the main problems these days is that there is no shame attached to be out of work anymore. I remember my Dad losing his job in about 1958, and its the only time I ever saw him cry. It was a serious situation for him and my Mum, as they were staring ruin in the face. It wasn't possible to live the life of Riley on benefits, as it can be for some people today.

Talbot...I have no reason to think that he is lying. I know him and I don't know you, so I will freely choose to believe him, rather than anybody else.
You are getting tiresome now, and you appear to be running around in ever decreasing circles, so I don't think there is any more point in continuing this debate with you.
