Rise Of The Far Right In Britain
Beware if you see any reference to a new Party called " Britain First" It is in effect a new Far-Right party, formed by ex-Members of the BNP ::

It might look quite cuddly and very patriotic, with its images of the Queen, poppies and suchlike but its the same tired old band of Fascist thugs, for whom Asians are the new Jews. I have warned about the rise of the Far Right on AB before, especially in Europe but these Fascists are marching in Britain, not Berlin. We ignore these racist thugs at our peril.

Where have we 'excused' this footballer? He served a prison sentence, he is on the sex offenders list, and it has yet to be decided if his club or any other club for that matter will allow him to play football ever again."
Perhaps you were off last week when there was a three-thread debate with several hundred responses with myself and maybe two others fighting a tide of opinion on this site of people who thought that the rape victim was at least oartly to blame for being drunk and in the rapist's hotel room late at night.
Yes he was convicted and imprisoned, as I banged on about for three days - but that did not stop a number of posters working quite hard to argue that the situation of rape arose because of the location, the time, and the state of sobriety of the victim.
In the mean time, the victim has had to move - locations and personal identities twice because the rapist's supporters have identified her.
He should be on the sex offenders' register - he is a rapist - what crime is she being punished for?

Order limit...The reasons have been debated and admitted here, and in the Enquiry. There are still on-going enquiries being undertaken, not least of all by the Police, as to why they didn't act sooner.
I don't support ignoring issues that might offend different religions and races, and I have already said as much. If a crime has been committed, then action needs to be taken. The Protestant and Catholic Church here in Britain also didn't use to ac very quickly, or even at all, for fear of upsetting the apple cart, and it was wrong there too. But nobody is suggesting that all Christians are child abusers, in the same way that Muslims are all being put into the same boat. There is a common factor running through all these cases of paedophilia and child abuse, and it isn't religion or race......its men.
Nobody seriously doubts now that mistakes were made, in all areas of child abuse, and hopefully they won't be made in the future. I'm not sure if I can make my own position on this any clearer !

I am not knit picking, and I clearly did not think the issue was of particular importance, I post many threads that I myself do not find important, but important enough to gain others opinions on matters, yes I know this may sound strange to you, simply because you don't seem particularly interested in opinions other than your own.

Mikey, sorry to chnage the subject a bit, but it's fair to say you call a lot of people and certain groups Nazi and racist and all the rest but your comments about the JW's could also fall into the same catergory of 'Hate offence incidents' as racism. Also, for your info, the police can't do anything right with certain enthic & religious groups, mainly because of constant complaints of racism (and all the others silly names) made by white middle-class lefty groups which has not only grid-locked the service down but has resulted in even the most stupidest minor complaints of racism etc taking priority over most other crimes. You are right about the Nazis though. They hated anyone that didn't believe in their Fascist principles, and these included Communists, Gypsies, even Roman Catholics, which was ironic as Hitler himself was a RC !

OL...the reason that the Police gave, for why they didn't act, to a campaigner against sex abuse, was that they had to concentrate on other crimes, like burglary. She clearly presented unimpeachable evidence but they ignored her, time and time again.
I heard the lady being interviewed on the Today Program last week, and there was a link in BBC News, although its not there now. All this will be investigated in the current Enquiry into the Police's failure to act on child abuse for so long. It would be interesting to see what their Officers tell this Enquiry.

OL...I don't agree with you at all ( 13:53) There is nothing whatsoever racist about telling people how to get rid of JWs when they come to the door. It appears that I was wrong and that you DO think I am guilty of inciting hate, which, to be frank, I am surprised at !
