It's all about 'context'.

An 18st chav with 'BNP' tattooed on the knuckles is probably flying the Cross of St George with racist intent ... but I don't see why his/her moronic world view should contaminate the flag so much that it can't be flown by other people for perfectly acceptable reasons.
