Will this type of thing make the public more wary of Muslims per-Se, since no one can tell the difference between our peaceful law-abiding Muslims or the crazy Islamic fundamentalists?

Being in a crowded tube train is bad enough at the best of times without the added stress that the threat of terrorism brings.
The next time I'm in London I'll walk to where I'm going.

I think it's a ploy by small businesses to ensure people shop in the little towns and keep them away from the big shopping complexes and city centres!!! It could well work.

The leaflet does not specify what religion terrorists might be. It would be a mistake to assume anyone the threat is only from Muslims, anyone could carrying out such an attack.

Er, what plan would that be exactly? If caught up in a situation who knows in all the pandemonium how you would react on the spot? It depends exactly where you are in relation to an attack(er), etc as to how you would react.

Run and hide, as it goes on to say. I'm not sure we needed telling that to be honest, but it's a box-ticking excercise.

If they didn't publish any advice there'd be loads of numpties complaining that the government should have warned them in advance to be ready to do the 'the bleedin obvious'.

Why aren't these leaflets issued in all the different languages that are spoken in the UK, or is it just the English speakers that they wish to warn?

If those who came to this country to enjoy the benefits, advantages and sanctuary this country has to offer can't speak or understand the language of the country they have adopted then it is high time they damn well did. Sir James Anderton [ living saint ] of blessed memory tried that on with the chinese minority in Manchester ( they are all heroin smugglers etc ) and there were some very well educated articulate chinese knocking at his door insisting they and their parents paid their taxes and so were due police protection like anyone else

no the ones the govt are really panicking about are the Brits who are in ethnic minorities, liberating Syria and then coming back and liberating US !
