This is a bit unfair on Farage. He is not anti brestfeeding. He is just suggesting a bit of consideration.

i think he is in a tricky situation - his party's demographic is older people, and it seems to be older people who are anti breastfeeding in public. so he doesn't want to alienate them

Yes, sit away from diners that is all it means. Stop trying to make more out of it than there is.

It would do some people no harm to have consideration to others. There is no need to parade breast feeding, it does not mean you have to hide, simply be considerate.

What about displaying some consideration towards mothers breastfeeding their babies? Stop making them feel like they are doing something dirty or to be ashamed off, stop asking them to hide away.

Baz....breast feeding doesn't come as naturally as some think. Many many women have to be taught how to do it.
