I wish the media would not interview the eyewitnesses, they are obviously in shock........

What ! just watched the link. Horrendous, as if the Glaswegians haven't had their share of disaster.

//Zacs-Master, Steady on, you mustn't say anything to discourage
public displays of competitive grief and compassion///

Whats wrong with showing compassion then divebuddy...ever tried it?

I won't reply to anything you post as it's neither the time nor the place.

I do not know of anyone Scottish or living in Glasgow, I do however feel sympathy for the people involved with this incident.
This is horrendous poor poor people right before Christmas it must have been such a horrible thing to see I feel so sorry for everyone
Just heard on Radio 4, 6 people confirmed Dead :o(

It's just horrific. My mum was in Glasgow this afternoon, she was nearby but is safe. My heart goes out to all involved.
So sad for all the families. Shocking, horrible accident.
What happened yesterday in Glasgow was a dreadful accident, and my heart goes out to the relatives that have lost loved ones.

But I am not sure why it is being linked to the helicopter accident this time last year. There is no connection whatsoever.

Also, I presume we can expect massive piles of flowers wrapped in cellophane to be left at the scene. This happens every time but apart from making a few florists very wealthy, I can't see that its effective in any way.
Mikey...it's not being linked to the helicopter crash. It's being pointed out that the city has seen two tragedies in a short space of time.
Exactly ummmm ! People are in shock Mikey, it's their community, they have to have a way of showing their grief I guess
I believe 10 people died in the helicopter crash and at least 6 people in this accident. That's a lot of grieving people in one city.
mikey. don't mock anyone who ' leaves' flowers at the scene of a tragedy , for some it is their way of showing respect.
