Orderlimit, nobody at the BBC said anything about it being racist or offensive. They said it was distracting. So it is, if you look at the photo. People would just be asking why the BBC is interviewing eejits.

sorry, Orderlimit, you are correct. But the BBC are clear that their main reason was because it would distract from the issue they were presenting a story about. And it would have. I too would hesitate to film someone who hangs a doll around his neck and calls it his dear friend.
