Apologies for new thread but I thought it easier, given there are several others.
Thunderflashes and gunfire heard at both locations where hostages are being held, one hopes for a safe outcome for them but that remains to be seen.

Several hostages freed at the supermarket, hopefully all of them.
A stun grenade does not fragment or disperse shrapnel. It makes a VERY loud bang and a blindingly bright flash to disorient any one in a room that it is thrown. Gives the special ops boys a window to enter and eliminate the bad guys.
Assoc Press now confirming the deaths and that the hostage in the factoruy has been freed. Yeah if true.
The two brothers are now dead ...at last! One man hostage freed.
Question Author

In light of what has gone earlier and yes it may be a little early as we don't know all the details yet but my warm congratulations go the the French Police and Special Forces for their brave and brilliant action in bringing both situations swiftly to a conclusion with minimal or (what appears to be) no loss of life.

Chapeau.
They don't mess about do they. Let's hope there's no collateral.

Question Author
They don't mess about do they.

Well as I said earlier, when you've got a rabid dog you put it down ASAP, don't you?
Question Author
Still no word on the female accomplice at the supermarket though.....
Yes. But you have to be careful if said rabid dog has a person in it's jaws.
Can we have a link please, can not find anything on the TV about this story.
Question Author
Yes. But you have to be careful if said rabid dog has a person in it's jaws.
