If they find it is so difficult for them to 'come out' then perhaps they are better leaving and thus making a job available for someone who really needs a job?

It becomes a little mentally exhausting trying not to 'out' yourself by using pronouns that give the game away if you are working in an environment which doesn't seem to lend itself to inclusivity.
Not all work envionments are office or desk based.

That's exactly what the article states.
But it seems it seems you've reached an incorrect conclusion, because you wrote:

It appears that you conclude that these people aren't leaving for a position in another company. That they're simply resigning to claim benefits.
Is that right?

I don't know if the moderators had a day off yesterday, but if they hadn't I can't understand why they did not stop the usual suspects from turning this thread into a personal attack once again against myself.
/// How do you equate being L,B, G or T as not needing a job? ///
I never said that they did not need a job, I meerly pointed out that if they found their working environment uncomfortable why not leave and make way for someone who needs a job?
/// The OP is just out to needle JTH, Zacs. ///
Totally intended to cause ill-feeling between other ABers.
/// We're all skirting around the fact that AOG has said that LGBT people don't really need job. AOG, we're all still waiting...... ///
More goading from this person, when in fact I have never said that LGBT people do not need a job.
/// Conspicuous by his absence, I would surmise, Zacs. ///
More aggressive confrontation, does this person not realise that one has other things to do than stay on-line 24/7.
/// It appears that you conclude that these people aren't leaving for a position in another company. That they're simply resigning to claim
benefits. ///
Yet one more false interpretation of what I actually said, where have I said they're simply resigning to claim benefits?
/// Again, disgraceful. If you post a 'question' surely you should have the grace to answer it. (?) ///
Even more goading from this person, so as to create ill feeling, this person may stay on this site until 19.11 on a Sunday evening, but others have other much more important things to do.
If you are out their moderators perhaps you can see what some on this site are really trying to do.
