I am one of those lefty, liberals that could be describe as naive or idealistic.
But I found the story today of a burglar who then went on to rape and murder taking his whole life tariff to the European courts as a violation of his human rights quite unbelievable!

Perhaps you are beginning to see the light.
Perhaps you would be good enough to attach a link next time you ask a question, from the sparse information you have given I have searched and come up with these two, are they the case you are referring to?

I Don't know how to attach a link!
Yes those two articles relate to the same case.
Human rights issues always amaze me. Not this example, I know, but too often you hear of murderers or other serious criminals being granted human rights, in spite of the fact that they ignored the rights of victims. To paraphrase Spock, "The human rights of the many outweigh the human rights of the few...Or the one".

About time some sense was shown.

Sorry about that, perhaps this will help?

Left click on the WWW, address bar of the source that you are taking it from, this will turn it blue

Right click 'copy'.

Then go to the question space on AnwserBank, and right click and select paste.
