Very unlikely judging by their barbarism, so would it be wrong to bomb Raqqa?

2. They may not be ISIS supporters, just ghoulish members of the public. When we had public executions, they would draw big crowds.
3. Dropping bombs on a city is unlikely to unseat ISIS. Boots on the ground and moping up street by street like they are doing in Tikrit, is the only option.
4. It would be justified to bomb Raqqa, which is why we are already doing so.

Yes and we once chopped off heads, but thankfully we have moved on.
Anyone ghoulish enough to get their entertainment from seeing a person thrown off a tall building, is no better than the person committing such an act, so would be no loss to humanity.

Bombing???? I have heard more noise during a thunder storm.

It will lessen their numbers a lot quicker, and at a minimum loss of our troops.

If you believe this, then every single person who has ever watched one of the ISIS beheading videos on the Internet is no better than ISIS themselves. That includes some members of the AB News community.
I personally would cry no tears if any member of the crowd in the picture suffered an extremely long and painful death, involving razor blades, testicles and lemon juice (you work it out for yourselves).
But blanket bombing?
No.
Not at all.

That is a ridiculous analogy to make.

Who suggested blanket bombing? But a well placed bomb/rocket here wouldn't be wasted.

Get wise Andy, these people are not your normal peace loving, tolerant British person, who will go away from that gathering chocking on their own vomit, and crying out how horrible it all was, and shouting "we are not going to stand for it any more".

Are we talking about the same 'British people' here.
When have you ever seen any British people walking away from any scene of violence 'choking on their own vomit and shouting we are not going to stand for it anymore'?
Maybe in a copy of The Rover, or Boys Own Adventure Stories, but certainly not in the Britain I live in.
If you concoct a scene of violence like this in the UK, the only difference will be that our baying morons will be filming it on their mobiles!

How would you propose targeted bombing that would kill those who attended this atrocity, but not those who shied away from it and stayed home?
Also - how would your solution avoid killing the gay men in Raqqa who had so far evaded detection by ISIS?
Do you think these gay men whom your solution had killed would thank you?

For what it is worth I dont think it is a ridiculous analogy SP.
Carpet bombing or Nuking, which is pretty much what you would have to do is just not part of modern warfare. And thank goodness it is not.
Not because of the women and children (because lets face it many of they are just as dangerous out there) but because of the other points mentioned above.
It will, eventually, come to boots on the ground. The sooner we start the easier it will be. The longer you leave it the more soldiers will be killed or maimed.

I have never seen our authorities throw a homosexual off a tall building.

You show little (if not no) regard towards your fellow countrymen Andy..

/// There were massive crowds came to watch public executions here in the UK. People are much of a muchness wherever they come from. ///
You and others are constantly telling us that we have moved on and what was acceptable years ago is not acceptable now.
So that was in the past and we are much more civilised these days, while some in other countries still live in the Middle Ages.

/// Are you now changing your question? ///
/// Originally you asked about bombing Raqqa, and it seems to have changed to a drone bomb on the crowd. ///
Are you deliberately being facetious, if one bombed a crowd in Ragga, wouldn't one also be bombing Ragga?
/// How would you propose targeted bombing that would kill those who attended this atrocity, but not those who shied away from it and stayed home? ///
They do not carry out these executions on the spur of the moment they are announced hence the large crowds assembled to watch, therefore it would take very little intelligence to gather that information and so scrabble a jet to target the crowd. Then all those gay men and others who had shied away from the proceedings would be safely tucked up in their homes, or as safe as they could be in a war zone.
