Well that depends AOG, Did they have intercourse?
No, as no sexual activity occurred between the 2 of them.
No. Do you actually think about things before you post?
Strictly speaking..........NO.

BUT wouldn't it have been easier for the " gay son" to have bought a doll, that cried, needed changing after wetting itself and talked.

Can't any of you realise that this was a tongue in the cheek question, so as to instil debate on such a controversial subject?

There is no telling what future complications this kind of thing will create in the future.
Sqad, that is plain nasty!!
Could get a bit odd if the surrogate mother is involved in bringing up the child
This is likely if there will be no other close female relative.
The child could get confused to see her father as a brother?
i wasn't aware this topic was controversial - this sort of thing (surrogacy) has been going on for quite some years now
would've thought a doll like that sqad would have been more suitable for you, ya know, one that didn't need attention much, didn't need love and could shove in a cupboard when it became tiresome.
her father is not her brother though
In the eyes of the law he is, bednobs.

Why should any of us be expected to interpret when you are being tongue in cheek and when you are not?
This story is no different from the ones where a mother carries a child for her daughter who has 'difficulties' of one form or other.

/// i wasn't aware this topic was controversial - this sort of thing (surrogacy) has been going on for quite some years now ///

What for a Mother to have her own Son's sperm fertilised egg placed n her?

/// ' Her son is the first single man to have a child through surrogacy in the UK, and the first to use his own mother as a surrogate. A fertility clinic arranged the pregnancy using a donor egg. ///
And?

There are quite a few women that have done it for their daughters. Wouldn't you prefer someone related to you carry your child. Someone you know will also love it?
