Just announced on Sky that Clarkson has been suspended by
the BBC following a fracas with a producer.

Perhaps he should be replaced by a younger model.

The BBC has suspended Jeremy Clarkson following allegations of a fracas with a Top Gear producer.

The BBC2 show will not be broadcast this Sunday whilst the BBC investigates the allegation.

Clarkson was already on a final warning from the BBC following a string of accusations of racism.

The BBC said: “Following a fracas with a BBC producer Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation. No one else has been suspended. Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday. The BBC will be making no further comment at this time.”

Quite possibly but someone with his right wing views working for a very lefty organization is bound to cause a problem.

Would Top Gear work without him, I suspect it would start to dwindle if any of them left.

someone with his tendency to make race-based slurs against people would be a problem for any media organisation except maybe Fox and the Putin channel. And even Fox might hesitate over people who get into a fracas with a producer. Maybe it will all prove to have been a misunderstanding and he'll be unsuspended; we'll see.

Clarkson was given what he called his "final warning" last May after claims he used a racist word while filming the popular BBC motoring show.

At the time, he said the BBC had told him he would be sacked if he made "one more offensive remark, anywhere, at any time".
