No, which is why I was careful to insert the word 'possibly' to pre-empt pedants.

I do think it's been established that people vote against things rather than for them though - ie people vote Labour to keep the Tories out and vice versa.

there was an element of this in last years scottish referendum, where a proporion of voters said they would be voting yes, because they wanted to "stick it tae cameron".
