No, it certainly is NOT. I think Nigel Farage is a twit but he's entitled to keep on proving it. There is no excuse whatsoever for bringing his family into it.
if his children were frightened by the incident then it obviously isn't acceptable behaviour
No. But if you're the leader of an off-centre part whose potential MPs have fairly radical and prejudiced views, maybe you should expect it.
No...awful behaviour. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Zacs...he maybe should expect it...but not his wife and children!
disgusting behaviour. he was having lunch with his family. I used to live in that village and know both pubs and just cannot imagine anyone in the village behaving so rudely.

he was not campaigning but with his family and those protesters should be ashamed of themselves.
Mush...no, of course not. This silly man can be easily defeated in the hustings.
You should not expect it under any circumstances. As I posted on another thread, there are compelling reasons to disagree with Farage and UKIP. Best way to do it is by taking him on in debate. Forceful if necessary. But this sort of thing is not 'protest' legitimate or otherwise. Just thuggery
No, not at all. Shame on the scummy protestors.
No and especially not when the children are there. I'm no fan of his but I thought this so called demonstration was disgusting.
There is no excuse for this behaviour
Absolutely disgusting, but not unexpected from these ever increasing diversity groups which it said included migrants, HIV activists, gay people, disabled people and breastfeeding mothers.

Interesting to note however as is always the case were members of the great unwashed groups are concerned, there appears to have been no police presence not to say arrests.

This scum should now be identified arrested and sentenced harshly, has they would have been if it had been such behaviour carried out by a right-wing group or of course had it have been a race related attack.
Absolutely disgusting.......yes! yes! he is a politician and politicians should not be surprised at such behavior..........but his wife and children?

Gays, HIV activists, mothers ..unwashed, dressed like down and outs, baring breasts with a baby "attached", lying on the bonnet of his car, shouting and screaming...........unacceptable.

My solution'?...a power hose, which would not only dampen down their protest but would clean them up at the same time.....yes....and the babies.

Well out of order, whatever you think of a Man's views don't involve his Family, especially his children, that's just bullying!
.

sorry umm // Zacs...he maybe should expect it...but not his wife and children!//

his policies involve not only men but their wives and children so they are involved anyway
// Interesting to note however as is always the case were members of the great unwashed groups are concerned, there appears to have been no police presence not to say arrests.// AOG

Oh! AOg I didnt notice anyone fro the EDL there

( ter daaah ! )

/// Oh! AOg I didnt notice anyone fro the EDL there ///

No that is because it's only the more violent lefty groups who tend to high-jack other's more peaceful protests.
PP....what? It's not his wife and children making the policies so why should they expect abuse?
Zacs-Master - //No. But if you're the leader of an off-centre part whose potential MPs have fairly radical and prejudiced views, maybe you should expect it. //

No, you absolutely should not expect it - because 'expecting it' is a step down the road to accepting it - and that cannot be right.

There is a time and a place for any political figure to be challenged, but a weekend lunch with his or her family is not it - and to frighten children in this manner is completely unacceptable.

No, politicians should never 'expect' harassment, it does not come with the job., nor should it.
I wonder what the reaction would have been if this had happened to either David Cameron, Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg, or Natalie Bennett?
AOG - // I wonder what the reaction would have been if this had happened to either David Cameron, Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg, or Natalie Bennett? //

My reaction would be exactly the same - people are entitled to personal freedom regardless of their politics.
