was this really worth more than one third of the bbc's flagship news show?
//This is supposing he gets to serve a 2nd term of course. //

That's exactly what he said, isn't it?

//David Cameron has told the BBC he will not serve a third term as prime minister if the Conservatives remain in government after the general election.//

Well spotted Naomi .....Nothing much gets past you !
That's because he's planning on doing a Blair. Go on the lecture circuit and make a fortune, as well as solving all the conflicts in the trouble spots.
Mikey, I'm presuming it got past you.
Ouch! :o)
Question Author
Even less gets past me than gets past you Naomi...that is the burden I must bear. (tic)
I doubt that, but what's (tic)?
Question Author
Sorry...we discussed tic last week.

As not all of us are adept at using those emoticons thingys, and sometimes light-hearted remarks are misinterpreted, I suggested that we use (tic) for tongue in cheek. Hence my use of it today !
Ah, right. One of the very few that have managed to get past me. ;o)
Oh good! Let's just hope he doesn't get a second term first.
That is a bit like being told by a thug who is threatening to bludgeon you with a mallet that at least he won't seek to cut your legs off later ...
//Let's just hope he doesn't get a second term first. //

I hope he does.
This story has really got up my nose, particularly Labour describing it as arrogant.

Have Labour (and others) wilfully missed the word 'if'?

All he has said is that IF he gets a second term it will be his last.

Why is this arrogant?
I've not seen any polls from you lately mikey. This can only mean the Tories are ahead.

Well I have posted them Ludwig, but perhaps you missed them.

Here we go ::::

I am sure that you could have found these for yourself, but if you need any help in the future, don't hesitate to ask. I am always happy to oblige.
Fair enough, bow out at the top. I think there are going to be a lot of sad labour supporters after the election. Remember all the bawling after Major beat Kinnochio 92? I think he had a 5 point lead didn't he?
If David Cameron is successful in May, who would you wish to see replace him in the following election?

Theresa May, George Osborne or Boris Johnson, all have been suggested?
none of the above !!!!!!

Yes it is not looking good for labour seeing that they will loose most of the Scottish vote.
