I can understand Hammond being disappointed about today's events, although I suppose there always next years important jobs to look forward to, like Crufts 2016.
But May is an intelligent, educated chap. Surely, now that the Clarkson albatross has been removed from his neck, he can look forward to flourishing as never before ?
( and what on earth made him wear that dreadful hat in public ?)

Honestly, who cares. It's not like any of them are going to starve is it. There'll be an ITV program called 'High Revs' or 'Old blokes, fast cars', or 'Gop Tear' very shortly starring all three of them with a suspiciously similar format to the BBC one.
The BBC had no choice. You can't punch people and expect to keep your job, unless you're a boxer. Just imagine how pathetic they'd look if they'd kept him on. He 'sacked' himself.
