What worries me is a BBC full of 'nice' presenters that I find dull as dish water. There are many charactes over the years that have divided opinion, some I like some I don't but I would not want them off the screen. Whether you like him or not he was a presenter that made the BBC a lot of money. Rather think this is a case of bad management. Was it so unforseable that they run may run late!

I'd be bloody upset having been on set all day and cold to find the chef has bucqered off - not even 9pm and, as I understand it, the duty manager wasn't exactly keen to go and sort out a few steaks. Not a good advert for the hotel either, is it?

Oh, please not Chris Evans! He's ruined the Radio 2 morning show with his incessant smug prattle, talking all over the music. And The One Show on Fridays is also unwatchable because of him

I have been out all day, so I am late coming to this. To be frank, I haven't the time to read every reply, but I am not in the least bit surprised that he will not be involved in Top Gear any more.

If he and his million fans thought that it was OK to assault a work colleague, and get away with it, then they are sadly mistaken. The issue of his fame and whether the program will survive without him is neither here nor there. The BBC have done what any other employer would have done and should have done.

We will soon find that Clarkson isn't unique or irreplaceable. There are plenty of others that can do the job.

But this isn't about Top Gear....its about dealing with an assault in the workplace, and this incident should be treated just the same as any other of the same kind.

Mikey...I'm yet to see anyone condone what JC did. It's just Top Gear fans knowing the show wouldn't be the same without him. If you watch Tony's link James May more or less confirmed that he's sticking with Jeremy. I assume the Hamster will also go.

That'll be Top Gear in this format gone forever, imo.

According to the television news a moment ago, all three will be going. Looks like a complete new team will be needed to present Top Gear.
