Cant see how. The perpetrators were Pakistani.
The bigger question is the raising of a Pakistani flag for half an hour over Rochdale's town hall to mark National Pakistan Day.

This is England, not Pakistan, it's about time these people learnt to integrate or go to wherever they would feel more at home.

just a matter of clarification -

of the 9 men convicted in the case referred to, only one of them wasn't British (and he was an Afghan asylum seeker).
How is a town hall flying the Pakistan flag for 30 minutes proof that "these people" have not "learnt to integrate"?
She should be given a medal.

as stated this is still England not pakistan and they should leave if they dont like this country and its culture...sadly theres fat chance of that happening though

Can you really not see it BD?

Plain as the hole in your **se to me.
"Simon Danczuk, who represents the town, has accused the columnist of "causing trouble" to create headlines."

Katie Hopkins??

Causing trouble to create headlines???

What next?

Sun rises tomorrow shock???

Bears really do .....

OK, I think I've made my point!
She breathes..... don't suppose that could be some kind of offence other than just being offensive???
No, youngmafbog, I can't see it. How do you know that the Pakistanis celebrating their national day are not also integrated? There wasn't anything in that article to suggest as such. Or are you inferring it from the fact they attended the flag-raising?
Neither can I see any suggestion they attended that flag raising because they don't like this country and should therefore leave.
I've heard that people of Irish origin sometimes celebrate St Patrick's Day in Britain - and in other countries too. Clear failure to integrate.
"How do you know that the Pakistanis celebrating their national day"

if theyre born here and have "british" passports why would they be celebrating pakistan day anyway ?

there will be thousands upon in that area who haveno intention to integrate or assimilate out ways and culture...you can bet your house on it.
so stop acting dumb just to try and make youre arguement stand
has she named the lucky nation she's going to, Tonyav? I think they are entitled to fair warning.
Sometimes, jno?? lol
Ah right, you're making an assumption and bolting this story on to it; I get it now, thanks.
has she named the lucky nation she's going to, Tonyav? I think they are entitled to fair warning.

I think she's saving that as a surprise, jno.
@jno - "has she named the lucky nation she's going to, Tonyav? I think they are entitled to fair warning."

If she ever did emigrate, I'd hope that whichever country received her did what we should have done, and dismissed her as nothing more than a noise generator.
Whereas I agree with her and others sentiments regarding the flying of the Pakistani flag over an English Town Hall, I disagree with her linking the t apparently this is not the first time this woman has said such unpleasant things.

It's simple enough BD, if they yearn so much for Pakistan, why do they live here? Clearly they do not consider themselves British and thus YMB's assertion that they are not integrated does have some merit. However there are a variety of travel options open for them to satisfy their yearnings.
