Child Sex Abuse Coving-Up Continues Apace
‘Anyone who fails to report child above could face jail’ so said one David Cameron, however this has not stopped officials continuing their obstruction.
In 2012 American journalist Leah McGrath Goodman of Newsweek got a short term visa so that she could investigate the now notorious Haute la Garenne children’s home in Jersey. Shortly after arrival, she was arrested and banned from the island and the rest of the UK by UK Border Agency staff.
The next time she returned to the UK, border guards arrested her, held her at Heathrow for 12 hours, then deported her. The UK Border Force said that there was no sinister explanation for its behaviour – it was just not satisfied that she was a genuine visitor.
Last week, when home secretary Theresa May announced the terms of reference for Justice Lowell Goddard’s inquiry into historical child sex abuse in England and Wales, MPs asked her to extend its remit to cover the Jersey scandal. She refused. (source: Private Eye)

But child sexual abuse isn't something that just happened years ago. Its going on now, all over the UK, and in every community, irrespective of colour, race and religion. Our PM has described it as endemic and wide-spread and for once I agree with dave.
When our current and practising paedophiles and abusers see the complete dogs breakfast that is being made of the investigations into historic child sexual abuse, it must just give them hope that they can also continue to get away with it. Especially if they are famous.
But it isn't all doom and gloom by any means. Only last week, an ex-Catholic Priest implicated in the Elm Guest House scandal and cover up was sentenced for his crimes. There is a wide-spread view that all those vile old men are dead. Well, some of them are but there are plenty of them still alive and they are slowly, but surely being brought to book.
There is now a head of steam behind these investigations and although 2014 will be remembered as the year that mistakes were made, it is at last getting started.
Watch out for a forthcoming trial involving a retired Church of England Bishop, that will be on your screens quite soon. Anybody wanting more info only needs to Google "identical twin bishops"

Mush. We may be at cross purposes here.
I am referring to a certain retired Bishop, that has already been arrested in 2012. The CPS have said that he will be charged with the following.
Misconduct in public office between 1977 and 1992
Indecent assault on a boy, aged 12 or 13, in 1978
Indecent assault on a man, aged 19 or 20, between 1980 and 1982
I can see no reason whatsoever that any change of Government in the next few weeks will interfere with this process. He may not be charged due to issues with his own health, or the CPS may decide that a conviction may not be possible, but political interference doesn't appear to be a factor here.
