Oh, For The Relief!
I know who I intend to vote for and I expect by now most other people know likewise. What with TV debates and endless mail through the letter box - enough is enough. Am I alone in looking forward to the relief of it all being over?

All indications are that this will be the closest election ever. Not only does first and second (Con or Lab) look tied, but third and fourth could be very close (SNP or LibDems). That means that even a two party Coalition will not give a workable majority.
The five year parliament act would have to be repealed, and we will have to go through all this again in October.

I have posted before about the possibility of a 3 way anti-Conservative dreamticket alliance.

Daisy Nonna,
The country seems to be very evenly split. Half will think its a dream and half will think its a nightmare.
The last election was very close leaving the Conservatives with no majority. It looks like very little has changed between the two main parties. However, the SNP could take third place and are more likely to form an alliance with Labour than Conservative (but we all said that about the LibDems 5 years ago).

Before the last election, the idea that the LibDems could support a minority Conservative Government was inconceivable, which is why many, including myself, voted for them.
Just because a Conservative / SNP arrangement seems unlikely does not mean it can't happen. When it comes to politicians ditching principals to attain some degree of power, do not write off any odd couplings.
