That was orchestrated by Conservative Central Office, and played by the Mail, Express and Telegraph, and the line was that voting for Labour would let in the nasty SNP who would be mean to the English.
Now that has been exposed as nonsense, and the electorate are not put off by the SNP, the line has changed to, the SNP don't like Labour and want to work with the Conservatives.
Truth is the first casualty in an election war.
