I am sure there were loads of objections back in 1999 when Morden's mosque was built as indeed there are with this one.

The article quotes Kingston being the nearest. It fails to mention that Morden,the largest in Europe ,is about 3-4 miles down the road.
I notice the objection was about parking. It wasn't mentioned that on or after Ramadan the busy A24 outside Morden mosque has cars double parked on a red route that the local traffic wardens and police turned a blind eye to on instructions from above.
It begs the question that why does a small suburb of London in Surrey need so many mosques in the first place or am I asking the obvious?
