They are young and silly and we should try to help them back, they after all will now be very far from being radicalised. They are an excellent object lesson for any others considering doing likewise.
They are 16 year girls who made a very bad judgement call, they are someones Daughters.In my opinion we should welcome them back and use their experiences to deter other youngsters.. They are still kids
I can understand why people aren't wanting these girls back in the UK. I would say it would at least depend on their attitude on returning. Are they running from a world they now realise is a horrible mistake, or do they still agree with the ideology in theory but not in practice?
But condemning any hypothetical babies before they are even born is, surely, taking things a step too far.
Will they not be shunned by their endllessly forgiving fellow religionists?
If some of them consider walking hand in hand a crime that merits corporal punishment, where does offering yourself to the first to grab you come on their scale?
