Goodness me ! How this thread has deteriorated since I had an early night !

I am not sure what has been said as some posts have been removed. We should all calm down !

We should be celebrating the fact that a portion of the Irish society is now no longer being discriminated against, instead of filling in the space with insults.

What possible difference does it make if 2 chaps or 2 girls want to get married or not ? It isn't anybodies business but their own. It doesn't effect me one way or the other....live and let live for goodness sake !

It was in reply to you stating "we are all united in this or are we?
I said I don't give a flying fig about this civil partnership as my marriage was legally recognised 40 yrs ago and has always been and I find this exercise a reason just to ensure a fair divvy of the assets in case the union goes pear shaped. I likened it top a pre nuptial agreement which IMO does not bode well for any union.
Of course those who have had their nose put out of joint by their obvious disapproval of my reinstatement then attempted to goad me in order that they get me banned again.
That is why I walked away from the OP.
