Good Choice For Top Gear?

I think Chris Evan is a good choice to present Top Gear. I watched TFI last Friday and both Suzi Perry and Jason Plato were in the studio audience.
Is that just a co-incidence or is there a chance that they have been offered the other two slots?
I think all three would make a very good team!

Having watched TFI the other night the problem seemed to me that CE has lost a bit of his spontaneity which made the original TFI work.
I dont expect much but I will be watching the new Top Gear. It just cannot be a direct replacement for the old one - I dont even know why they kept the same program name.

anax @11:25 has put it perfectly as far as I'm concerned.

IMO Evans made a pig's ear of his own format (TFI Friday) last week & I dread to think what he'll do to someone else's. He's an anachronism & I shan't be watching now the "Terrible Trio" have gone - they made a show full of silliness & fun, perfect for a non-driver like me that couldn't care less about a "real" review & a full list of car specs.

So happy I don't watch Top Gear - can't stand CE. He seems to be on TV and radio every day. Thank goodness for an off switch.
