I've got a potentially cheaper method of dealing with IS in Syria, Before long all the 'innocent' Muslims will have quit the country and according to many on AB enjoying the salubrity of our Benefits system and we should encourage anyone from the UK (adults only) who wish to go to Syria to go - ship them over free of charge. Then nuke the lot of them.
Lol @ my answer-removed

If I gathered together the the posts in which TTT is name calling another ABers, I would have a very busy day in front of me.

Two wrongs don't make a right Talbot.
I am amazed that the government didn't keep this action - and its results - a secret.

Lord knows, they can keep plenty of other things secret - expenses, invasions, Chilcot - so why not this?
Because if they had we would then be having a discussion on why these men s deaths were kept secret from the British Public, and their families would be trying to claim even more compo. As soon as something is 'kept secret' it somehow becomes corrupt. Clarity is good -and sends a message to others wanting to go fight in Syria for IS that they will be killed by the UK if they are found.

/// Air to ground missiles are astonishingly expensive ranging from about £100,000m to £50,000 per shot, to knock out just half a dozen people.
Not cost effective to me. ///

Perhaps not cost effective to you, but that is of little importance, one cannot put a cost on such things, who knows how much it would have cost in lives alone taking into consideration one terrorist attack on the UK.

/// As a one off I agree with this strike to booster morale, but airwarfare is not the answer here. ///

Booster morale?????? it achieved much more than that, it achieved what it was set out to do.
erm I dont think they kept the expenses thing secret andy

presumably they knew it would come out anyway
It was a good news story that has been kept in abeyance. The cynical might think the Conservatives suspected they would be defeated over the 'Referendum' and kept this back to relegate that defeat from the front pages.
// it achieved much more than that, it achieved what it was set out to do.//

er no AOG you missed the bit where the minister told us it was so secret he COULDNT tell us what it had achieved - but we could rest assured that ......

I think TTT's name calling goes into the hundreds, retro.

But it seems that TTT can call ABers 'Anti-British' and '***' with impunity (like he does) and woe betide any posters that calls him stupid for doing so.
I think there are posters on this site who come across as anti- British. Perhaps they just like to take an anti-establishment line (like we all did as teenagers) but it makes them sound anti-British(imo)

Personally I think if you want to go fight for the so-called Islamic State, then you get what you deserved.

It's very easy to avoid being killed by a drone. Do what I do...don't go to Syria to fight the enemies of the British people.

I've not done what these two chaps did, and I've not been caught in a drone attack.

Not suggesting there's a definite causal link, but...
Svejk is 100% correct. Sometimes people can misrepresent what their true opinions are in the 'cut and chase' of a debate in ABOUT.

I myself have suspected that some people are either racist or anti-gay, when in fact they are simply trying to express an alternative point of view to drive a discussion on.
For 'ABOUT', read 'AB'.

Perhaps they haven't yet found out where you hang out? :0)

Only joking sp.

Was that meant to read 'fight for the enemies' sp?
Well spotted, Togo. You can't get away wiv nuffink around here. ;)
@TTT

Yeah, where are all these threads where people are supposedly being anti British? I cannot say I've seen a single such comment made by any ABer, so I have no clue what you are talking about.

There may be contributors who are anti-you but, just because you are pro-British does not mean that anti-you means anti Britain.

Anti establishment is a teenage thing? Someone tell all the comedians in Britain. Oh, and Ian Hislop.

Meanwhile... what does G12 do?
