One of my neighbours then jumped out of the upper story breaking both legs ( twenty y ago this time ) and we wll thought it was escaping from a drugs deal gone wrong

But I suppose it makes sense. Young thugs grow into middle aged thugs and then eventually - old thugs.

But for him to attack someone with his grandkid in tow...

A fella I work with was cycling down a country lane (he's part of a bike club) when three lads attacked them out of the blue for no reason whatsoever. We concluded that it must've been a case of mistaken identity.

That may be so - AOG has yet to respond - but my point was that a thread like this has nowhere to go.

We all express our varying degrees of anger and disgust at this incident, the law, modern society, etc. etc., but nothing really occurs in terms of a debate because we all basically think the same.
