THECORBYLOON //Rana Saif, 55, who owns a pub in the village and took the photograph of the black limousine, said: ‘It’s a big waste of money – and taxpayers’ money at that. 'I have no problem with immigration, I moved here from Sweden, but there are too many in a small village. The limo was here about half an hour. I thought it must be a stag do. 'There were...

I think you have got it the wrong way round, it is not it's readers who get 'wound up' but the Anti-Daily Mail Brigade it would seem.
For your interest, I first heard of this on a LBC radio phone-in, prompting me to chose the Daily Mail's report (other newspapers are freely available) to post a thread on the story.

Sqad - //\\\\How would you know they are immigrants?\\\
because I had just been on AB. //
Come on, you are dodging the question! You understand my point perfectly - you cannot assume that every person of colour you see is an immigrant, and surely even less so if they are getting out of a stretch limo?

It`s not just the Mail that is "winding up" people. The whole situation in Longford was on the local news the other night. The locals are fed up with gangs of men hanging about and changing the face of the place. There is a lot of cheap local accommodation around there (owned by Indians who are very good at that sort of thing). One guy had asylum seekers either side of his house and they congregate in his garden. I`m not surprised people were peeved at seeing them going off in a Hummer. At least they were going off somewhere though..

Since that post is directed at me - did you not read my post where I advised that I was withdrawing from this thread because you were unable to interpret my observations without turning them into a personal feud?

Perhaps one should get their dictionary out and look up 'Criticism'

May I suggest 'The Morning Star'?

A fair point - I should have been more specific and advised that I was no longer replying directly to AOG, who takes issue with my on a personal level - however, I am delighted to continue to debate with the remainder of the AB community, who don't appear to feel under similar pressure.

I have no doubt that you read my post where I advised that I was withdrawing from direct exchange with you - why are you still commenting on what I have said?
Am I correct in my interpretation that you are simply trying to cause trouble? I can see no other reason for your actions.
