One of them, at least, had a Syrian passport. They were all muslims and, frankly, I'm fed up of hearing 'it's nothing to do with islam' after every islamist atrocity.

"A Syrian passport was found near one of the bodies of the attackers".
Conveniently placed there, perhaps?
Firstly, why bring your own passport to a mass killing, where you (apparently) plan to die in a hail of bullets? It can only help trace you back and get your "known associates" rounded up before their turn.
Second, if they'd been shot dead, the passport should be about their person; if they'd blown themselves up, the passport should have been burned or shredded.
It doesn't add up for me. You are welcome to your own opinion though.

Copy; paste; print; laminate; sneak into BBCQT audience (or other TV debate); deploy only after apologists makes any announcement to the contrary.
You'll be ejected from the auditorium and banned for life but it will be worth it to try and get that verse shown on the Beeb. Just once.

Deputy public order minister Nikos Toskas, said in a statement:
On the case of the Syrian passport found at the scene of the terrorist attack, we announce that the passport holder passed from Leros on October 3 where he was identified based on EU rules ... We do not know if the passport was checked by other countries through which the holder likely passed.
