It's the way we are 'preached' at which gets my goat. I'm sure we've all had relatives friends or at least acquaintances who's health has been affected directly or indirectlyby alcohol. Most of us are intelligent enough to weigh up the risk so why do they still nag us?

So apparently there's no safe level of drinking alcohol.

There's no safe level of breathing. Just being alive has an inherent level of risk to it. The only way to be sure of avoiding cancer or other illness is to kill yourself now while you're still healthy.

Still, they've ticked their box and informed us of the bleeding obvious, so we can all get on with our lives. I'm off down the pub later.

The risk of dying is approximately 100%. Our singing group entertained the inmates of a local care home this Christmas. If Not drinking enables me to spend 3 more years in there - pass me the bottle chums and CHEERS!
