They have easy access to the weapons and a support system in their countries of origin. The end game approaches.

Now we have suggestions that the Calais migrants should be treated as an Invading army (as the Germans were in WW2) and shot before they have a chance to 'get over here'.

Retro we know what will happen. A family or lorry driver will be taken hostage at gunpoint. Entry to Britain will be demanded or the hostages will be murdered. Once here they will demand asylum. There will be a raft of human rights lawyers, and liberal civil rights campaigners, asserting that they have a right to family life (even though they have abandoned their own) and they will be housed and entitled to benefits and anonymity. More will then do the same.

It is not a game Eddie1. We don't give the illegal immigrants a sporting chance to get over here!!! They shouldn't,legally be in France let alone storming a British ship. If passengers and crew's lives are endangered as well as the safety of the vessel then lethal force would have to be used. I have no problem with that!

If the scenario you suggest happened on French soil then I think we have seen how they deal with terrorists in Paris.The French should have bulldozed,napalmed the jungle long ago and deported it's occupants or imprisoned them in a different sort of camp to the jungle.

No. They are on none as far as I know.It doesn't take more than an hour or two to get them to Dover if necessary. They have teams on standby in the SBS who are trained to recapture ships and oil rigs etc. I am sure they are well rehearsed and ready should they be deemed necessary.
