3 AB members have suggested using guns to kill the Calais migrants.
I have reported this as in my opinion such suggestions constitute 'Hate crime' or encouraging murder!
People have been convicted for less than certain members have said on this thread !

And just to point out not agreeing with shooting the migrants doesn't mean I/we think we should let them all in.

Alas, retro, like many things you read in the news, that was really smoke and mirrors..

The plan was to bulldoze around one third of the encampment and transfer the occupants to shipping containers, suitably fitted out with beds, running water, kitchens, secure entry systems (and of course mobile phone charging facilities), Around 1,600 people were due to be transferred. I believe the scheme has now been completed (but not before the occupants set fire to two bulldozers, completely destroying them). Their reluctance to leave was said to be because the authorities wanted too much information from tem (including their fingerprints for the entry system) and they believed they would then be forced to apply for asylum in France (which of course demonstrates perfectly that they are not refugees but economic migrants trying to get to their destination of choice).

So they are all still there. It’s just that some of them have been relocated to more comfortable accommodation just up the road.

BTW, I won't get too involved, but I think there is a considerable difference between making a suggestion (which may not be to everybody's taste) and inciting or encouraging somebody to commit a particulat act.

New Judge, you know better than me but is surely posting comments like 'Kill them before they kill us' or 'never mind the hoses ,get the machine guns out' Would be 'hate crime' or ' enticement to commit a criminal act' (whatever the wording of the relevant law is? )

If it was considered that troops of HMQ armed forces be involved in what has been suggested then it reinforces what I have long suspected about a few here on Answerbank.
It demonstrates total contempt and ignorance of the integrity and discipline of the men and woman of the armed forces and those who lead them.
Troops will return fire if fired upon using rules of engagement. They do not randomly strafe unarmed civilians,whoever and wherever they be.Shame on any one who would think they would do so unless fired upon first.!!

If these illegals dont heed the orders like "A" dont try storming the ferrys or "B" do not pass this point etc, if you do you are endangering your life and whatever measures needed to stop you will be taken and that includes ultimate force ie you may well be shot, as we are entitled to and will protect our country from any invaders, invading force in any way we see fit, our security and our country takes precedence over yours...dont like it ? then stay out and dont cross this line...you have been warned !

The question regarding taking firmer action is how far do we let things go before we do, do we let them storm ships, attack HGV's and do nothing, which is what we are doing now.

Do we let them storm another ship and pickpocket and beat up the passengers and crew and do we let them start attacking and killing the passengers and crew, after all we have no idea who they are and as NJ pointed out they are unwilling to give the french any information about themselves.

So EDDIES1 and Zacs how far should we and the French go and what kind of action should they take IF they did start attacking and killing people on a ferry or HGV or on the euro tunnel
