Read it once, will need to read it again to form a proper opinion. But a first glance suggests that he may have a point. The test case would be whether a heterosexual couple asking for the same "Support gay marriage" cake would also be refused. I think they would be. In which case it's hardly discriminati on against their sexuality, but their world-view.

I cdnt follow Tatchell's argument - refusing to ice a cake with 'Gay marriage is great !" infringes the cake-sellers right to free speech ?

I'm almost certain that it was me who proposed that if they refused to make the same cake for a straight customer, then they were not guilty of anything...however, I'm not sure who raised the question last year.
