A policeman gave me a funny look today, and I was outraged at the breach of my human rights. I want the individual arrested and duly convicted, and a full public enquiry. I would also like, incidentally, a large sum of public money in compensation, not that it's as important as the principle of course. Then I want a statue erected in my honour, preferably to replace all the statues of the warmongers. The whole police force is a disgrace, let's scrap the lot of them and replace them with ?

Britain today, eh? What we need to do is hang petty criminals, repatriate anyone without documented proof of their British roots going back to at least the thirteenth century, starting with those who dare even consider that there's anything wrong with Britain, get women back in the kitchen and bedroom where they belong, re-animate Maggie Thatcher, bring back aparthied, ban all those loony lesbian, one-legged dwarf London Councils, go to war with France, re-criminalise *******, bring back birching, flog anyone who doesn't read the Daily Mail, knight Tony Martin, Jim Davidson, Bernard Manning, make everyone listen to Cliff Richard and Phil Collins on repeat and promote hackneyed stereotypes of people with different political views as the highest form of wit.

I blame the youth of today.  And the oldsters of today.  And the youth of yesterday.  And the oldsters of tomorrow.  And the farmers.  And anyone who disagrees with me about anything.  And anyone who disagrees with any of my pet hates.  Let's have a true people's democracy, like North Korea.  Then they might learn to show a bit of respect for us normal people.

You forgeot to add mfewell, that in the Britain of 2005 a 82 year old party supporter will be manhandled and dragged out of a party conference and anyone who supported him dragged through rows of seats by burly men and arrested under the PTA for daring to say nonsense once. Must make you proud that you have atlast been able to quell every morsel of criticism inside and outside your party and your chest swell with great sense of honour and pride for the ocassion.
