High Stakes Poker
Now that Boris has finally nailed his colours to the mast , I believe that if he is not on the winning side ; then he will have lost any chance of leading the tory party and therefore any chance of becoming PM , as is his ambition.
Cameron would have to step down ( although he has stated that he would not be seeking a further term as PM ) if the vote went against him - and also his side kick Osborne , chances of taking over the reins would considerably be lessened .
This is high stakes poker for Boris , Cameron & Osborne .
I believe that the public will vote to remain in the EU , because most folk are wary and apprehensive of the unknown ; therefore Boris will be shot down in flames
Do you agree with my opinion or not ?

He will be accepted as the 'gallant loser' by the rest of the party. This whole thing is a win/win situation for him.
(I hope the British public has more guts than you think Bazile.)

It's high stakes alright but I don't think the public are so timid as to fear the "unknown". I think Bojo could just sway the outcome. It's not clear at all what the overall view of the public is and both sides will be digging up all manor of horrors. Going to be interesting, I'm loving it already. Remember May? a hung parliament was a certainty was it not? Months of lobbing missiles at each other to go. Both sides have fire power, lets see shall we.
In spite of the personna he tries to put across of being a bumbling idiot, he's actually a highly intelligent bloke.
I agree with your analysis Bazile about it being high risk, which makes me think Boris knows something we all don't (yet). He wouldn't take such a risk with his future otherwise. So expect something to emerge (either fact or propaganda) to swing the public behind the OUT vote.
